From Waste - A Hut

In a situation like this, when everything is locked down, and we are forced to stay at home, we need some fun activities to engage kids. This is what I prepared with my son when he was around 4 years old and though he usually lacked patience and concentration, at that age, he was very excited to work on this and wanted to do everything on his own. Material required All you need for this are: an empty carton for e.g. a diaper box. a cardboard sheet  some water colors Color sketch pen Procedure As you see in images above, remove the box flapes Cut out the door and windows on the box using knife (don't let kids do it. ) You can either paste a plane paper on top of the box and then color or simply color the box. (Kids usually enjoy this activity) For roof, color cardboard sheet and draw straight line on it to give the impression of bricks lining using sketch pen (as shown in the picture).  Let the colors dry Now using sketch pen draw the outlines

My Mehndi design for the festival Karwachauth 2018

Three Sisters

I got this image as one of the forward. The first thing that came to my mind was my sisters and our trio. I have put this drawing on our drawing room wall. Gaurang says the lady with the baby is me and the one with the flower is Meenu mausi (the slimmest one). So, the remaining one, the one with the pot, is Archana Mausi.. 😜

Jungle Book

Once I watched Jungle Book with my then 4 years old. After movie he slept for around 2 hrs and I drew this during that time. It was a nice surprise for him when he got up.

Some random design, I saw somewhere and liked.

Karwachauth 2014

Karwachauth is a festival to celebrate your marriage, to revive your married life again, to be and dress up like a bride again and a way to show the husband that I care for you. With time and age, even if I don't have time to properly dress up or do other special things, I do make sure to at least put on Mehndi on my hands, which is a symbol of being wed. Below is a picture of my Mehndi from Karwachauth 2014.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum!!

Life is like "Kabhi Khushi kabhi Gum". I believe everyone here has 2 faces, one to show the world and one the real self. Even if you are hurt from inside, you hide that from the world, at least from the strangers. This picture shows that emotion.
